Church Planting
At Christ Fellowship Church, we believe church planting is one of the most effective ways to see people reached with the gospel and gathered into Christ’s church. From the book of Acts onward, the planting of new churches has been central to the spread of Christianity.
Our Commitment
As a confessional PCA church, we are committed to supporting faithful church plants that share in our vision of biblical teaching, Christ-centered worship, and gospel-shaped community. Through prayer, financial partnership, and encouragement, we join with church planters in the work of making disciples and establishing churches.
Phil and Wendy have served in the ministry of church planting for over 34 years. The Stogners are committed to the Free Church of Scotland’s vision to plant 30 new congregations by 2030 (30 x 30). They work with the Glasgow City Free Church to encourage pastors in this large and strategic city. Their desire is to coach, counsel, and care for the Scottish shepherds who have a vision to see Christ’s flock grow into healthy churches as the gospel grows outward in Glasgow.
ECP was started by Walter Wood in April, 2020 to advance the church planting movement in the cities of Europe through coaching, church plant training, network development, and equipping pastors for long-term effectiveness. After nearly 40 years as an associate pastor, church planter, lead pastor, and Catalyst for City to City (redeemercitytocity.com), Walter embarked on a new ministry to continue to share his passion for church planting and experience with church planters and pastors in Europe. Walter has been involved in the European church planting scene since 2008, and is the ECP Director and sole staff at this time.
We long to see Christ-centered churches take root and flourish—from Roswell to North Metro Atlanta to the ends of the earth. Join us in praying, giving, and partnering for the spread of the gospel.
