What We Believe

Christ Fellowship Church is a confessional congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA), rooted in the Reformed tradition and standing in continuity with the historic and apostolic faith passed down through Scripture. We gladly confess the ecumenical creeds of the church—the Apostles’ Creed and the Nicene Creed—and we affirm the Westminster Confession of Faith along with the Larger and Shorter Catechisms as faithful summaries of God’s Word.

At the heart of our faith are these core truths:

WORD OF GOD

We believe that the Bible is the written Word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit and without error in the original manuscripts. It is infallible, authoritative, and our final standard for faith and life.

THE TRIUNE GOD

We believe in the Holy Trinity. There is one God, who eternally exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

HUMAN SIN AND NEED

We believe that all people are sinners, unable to save themselves, and in need of God’s sovereign mercy.

GOD'S SOVEREIGN GRACE IN SALVATION

We believe that salvation is the work of God alone. By His sovereign grace, He chooses and redeems His people—not because of human merit or foreseen faith, but out of His mercy and love.

THE PERSON AND WORK OF CHRIST

We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. Through His perfect life and sacrificial death, He atoned for the sins of all who trust in Him alone for salvation.

THE HOLY SPIRIT

We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells believers, giving them strength and wisdom to trust Christ and follow Him.

GOD’S COVENANT PROMISES

We believe that God is faithful to His people not only as individuals but also as families, extending His covenant promises to successive generations.

THE LORDSHIP OF CHRIST

We believe that Every aspect of life is to be lived under the lordship of Jesus Christ and to the glory of God.

THE RETURN OF CHRIST

We believe that Jesus Christ will return bodily and visibly to judge all people and gather His people to Himself.

A Welcoming Community

While we hold these historic convictions, we welcome people from many backgrounds. Whether you’ve belonged to another denomination or no church at all, you are invited to worship with us. If you are exploring who Jesus is, we invite you to join us as we seek to glorify and enjoy God together.

We believe the Reformers were not starting something new but recovering the ancient faith of the apostles, faithfully passed down through Scripture. In that faith we gladly stand, and in that grace we warmly invite you to join us at Christ Fellowship Church.
